Samsung DMR Dishwasher's LE-Error

Today, I learned how to get around saving money on repairing or replacing our Samsung DMR dishwasher by using an electric fan.  Over 3 years ago, I took the chance on the Samsung dishwasher from Lowes.  The amount of dishes it holds and the silence of the machine is true to its hype.  I also like how well it cleans the dishes, even without much pre-rinsing or pre-scrubbing.  (Perfect for lazy owners and a setup where the kitchen, dining room and living room all share one great space.)  However, I'm irritated with the front-facing buttons that are so sensitive that it turns on/off when someone gets any close to it.  As much energy I'm saving from this machine, I feel I'm spending multiple from all those accidental start and stop.

Last night, the LE error showed up when I turned on the machine.  What does this mean?  I looked it up online and most of the posts I ran into were mostly complaints about Samsung's awful customer service, cost of getting it repaired by repairmen who can't really fix it, and what a scam Lowes is.  The most important piece I learned is that LE means LEAK.  Luckily, there didn't seem to be a leak.  I conclude this because everything is dry around the dishwasher and under my sink.  The hose looks clean and barely touched by anything.

Instead of calling Samsung or a repairman, I grabbed a small electric fan, placed it inside, and faced it to the center base of the dishwasher.  (I removed the bottom rack.)   I fanned it for about 4 hours... and BAM!  Fixed!

Good luck on yours!
